About Us
Culburra Beach Surf School is a family-run business, providing surf lessons for the past 20 years. Located in the South Coast town of Culburra Beach, this ASI accredited surf school allows learners of all levels to experience the local breaks and beaches of the area.
Culburra Beach, 2.5 hours south of Sydney, is the ideal location for beginner surfers. Its sheltered coastline produces safe water conditions with inviting swell. Culburra's quiet community also creates a welcoming and encouraging environment, attracting visitors for day trips and weekends, perfect for learning to surf.
Sue and Pete Hill, owners of Culburra Beach Surf School, are highly qualified and experienced surf instructors. Pete is a qualified education teacher with over 35 years of surfing experience, holds all his Senior First Aid Training and Bronze Medallion Certificate up to date, so you are in the safest of hands.
Culburra Beach Surf School's surf lessons can be personalised to align with learners needs. We offer both group and private lessons, as well as surf based team building activities and surf awareness programs.
